Procademia is a platform of opportunities and one that facilitates learning. The Cyberfest conducted by the Department of Computer Technology and Applications of the Coimbatore Institute of Technology is a two-day Symposium (31st Jan and 1st Feb) inviting participants to showcase their knowledge and competency in technology. Hosting a galore of tech-competency events it was just the right place to introduce Procademia as a knowledge and skill upgrade platform which is powered by the latest in technology. The presentation and video on Procademia as a concept, and the ease of connecting to real-time professionals for skill and talent enhancement and career counselling, saw a huge response from the management of the institution and the students, lighting off a chain- reaction that attracted students from other departments too, to come, know and register for mentoring on Procademia. The Regional launch of Procademia at the Francis Xavier College in the district of Tirunelveli proved to be commendable success for the management of Procademia. The event was attended by eminent personalities who have endorsed Procademia as a channel that would effectively solve the employability issue by opening newer talent and skill upgrading avenues. The program witnessed the formal signing of FX Engineering College as Academic partner of Procademia and launch of online mentoring platform www.procademia.com in its colleges which acts as a link between students, academicians and the professionals in the industry to bridge the gap prevailing between the employable skills of the student and the industry needs. FX Colleges is proud to be 1st college in southern Tamil Nadu to become partner of Procademia thereby create a strengthened Alumni Eco System resulting in better skill development and Employablity.

Sri Manakula Vinayaga Educational Trust was formed with the avowed objective of imparting quality technical education, especially to the weaker sections of society. To cherish this objective and to join hands with the policy of the Government of Puducherry in enhancing technical education and also to meet the needs of our Nation, the Trust established Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College in the year 1999. The institution has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Pondicherry University, a central university. It is worthy to note that Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering college is the first engineering institution in the entire Union Territory of Puducherry which had obtained the NAAC accreditation that too with `A’ grade.
